PHP Developer

Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a PHP Developer in Durban!

We require a candidate with:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT

• PHP

• Javascript

• MySQL

• HTML5

• CSS3

• AWS development experience advantageous

Some of the technologies you will work with:

• Laravel

• VueJS

• MySQL

• Docker

• Git Version Control & Git

• Amazon Web Services

What will be expected from you:

• Proven software development experience (in PHP projects)

• OOP skills and knowledge of design patterns (Design patterns, SOLID, DRY, Yagni)

• Clean Coding is your most important principle

• Experience with Relational Databases

• Knowledge and experience of Unit Testing and Test Driven Development

• Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies

• Must be able to converse fully in English

• Experience working with high-availability, high-performance, scalable systems

• Able to reliably estimate effort and work breakdowns in order to predict project timelines

• Take ownership and responsibility for projects and delivery times
