PHP Developer

Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a PHP Developer in Cape Town!

We require a candidate with:

• Degree or Diploma IT related

• 4-5+ years of experience

• Good HTML, CSS, etc

• Excellent PHP and associated PHP frameworks

• Strong JavaScript

• Good Angular and/or React (we have a mix of Angular and React applications / features on our sites)

• Good creating SQL queries

• MySQL and MS SQL experience

• Server management, Apache, Nginx, and related services, etc

• Linux command line

• People-based problem solving skills - i.e. turning a user request into a user story, spec and then build

• Tech-based problem solving skills - i.e. using logs to find cause of issues and resolve them

• Version control (we use Gitlab)

• Basic AWS services management

• WordPress and other CMS's

• Experience working on Ecommerce brands

• Experience working on SEO-centric brands
