Job Description

Calling all people who have a passion for Java Development!

We have a well established client, based in Johannesburg looking for a Java Developer.

Requirements:

Must be proficient in Java

3+ years experience

A full stack developer is a definite plus in this role, but not always essential

Experience in: (relative to seniority)

OO Principles: polymorphism, inheritance, encapsulation

Strong Java and OO development knowledge

Java, Spring Framework and Java EJB knowledge for legacy systems

RESTful services

JPA / Hibernate

Jira and Git

Testing frameworks like Gherkin

Testing frameworks for APIs

Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes experience beneficial

AWS experience and or certification beneficial

Angular/ React
