Job Description

Seeking an experienced Android Developer in Cape Town for a Well-Known IT Company!

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Information Technology or Equivalent

• 4+ Years Android Development experience

• Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK.

• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)

• Experience using and creating scalable web-based RESTful APIs.

• Experience in integration development (HTTP, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing new applications, as well as maintaining and enhancing our existing apps.

• Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions

• Communicate and enforce coding standards

• Code and test program modules that meet design specifications

• Ability to write code of a consistently high quality

Technologies:

Android, Android SDK, Java, J2EE, J2ME, RESTful API, HTTP, SOAP, XML, JSON
